What’s New in SSC CGL 2026?
- AAO Posts are Back- Assistant Audit Officer (Central & State Cadre) और Assistant Accounts Officer (State Cadre) posts को फिर से शामिल किया गया है, जिनका pay scale Rs. 47,600–1,51,100 है।
- Tier 1 में Sectional Timing Introduced- अब प्रत्येक section के लिए अलग 15-minute time limit होगी। Candidates एक section के बीच में दूसरे section पर switch नहीं कर सकेंगे।
- Tier 2 में New Paper 3- Tier 2 में Paper-III (General Studies – Finance & Economics) जोड़ा गया है, जो केवल AAO/AAAO posts के लिए होगा।

SSC CGL 2026 Eligibility Criteria
SSC CGL Exam के लिए minimum eligibility के तौर पर candidates के पास किसी recognized university से Bachelor’s Degree होना जरूरी है और age limit 18 से 32 years के बीच होनी चाहिए। Commission ने candidates के लिए educational qualification, age limit और nationality से जुड़े eligibility criteria निर्धारित किए हैं। Official notification के अनुसार detailed category और post-wise SSC CGL Eligibility Criteria इस प्रकार हैं-
Educational Qualification (as on 01/08/2026)
- Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer: Candidates के पास Bachelor’s Degree होना जरूरी है। Desirable qualification के तौर पर Chartered Accountant, Cost & Management Accountant, Company Secretary, Master’s in Commerce, MBA या Master’s in Business Studies में से कोई qualification हो सकती है।
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): किसी recognised university से Bachelor’s Degree होनी चाहिए, जिसमें Class 12 में Mathematics में कम से कम 60% marks हों, या graduation में Statistics एक subject के रूप में पढ़ा हो।
- Statistical Investigator Grade II: किसी recognised university से Graduation Degree होनी चाहिए, जिसमें Economics, Statistics या Mathematics compulsory या elective subject के रूप में शामिल हो।
- Research Assistant in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC): किसी recognised university या institute से Bachelor’s Degree के साथ किसी recognised university या research institution में कम से कम 1 year research experience होना चाहिए।
- Remaining Posts: किसी recognised university से किसी भी subject में Bachelor’s Degree होना जरूरी है।
Can final-year graduation students apply for SSC CGL 2026?
Yes, final-year students SSC CGL 2026 के लिए apply कर सकते हैं, लेकिन उन्हें crucial cut-off date यानी 1 August 2026 तक अपनी official Bachelor’s Degree certificate या passing proof प्रस्तुत करना होगा।

Nationality
Candidate India, Nepal या Bhutan का citizen/subject होना चाहिए। इसके अलावा, Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia और Vietnam से भारत में permanently settle होने के लिए migrated Person of Indian Origin भी eligible हो सकता है।
SSC CGL Application Fee
SSC CGL 2026 का online application form submit करते समय candidates को Rs. 100/- application fee pay करनी होगी। Fee का payment BHIM UPI, Net Banking या Visa/Mastercard/Maestro/RuPay Debit Card के माध्यम से online किया जा सकता है। एक बार fee pay करने के बाद यह non-refundable होगी।

SSC CGL 2026 Selection Process

Stage 1 – Tier-I: Computer-Based Examination, जो qualifying nature का होगा।
Stage 2 – Tier-II: Paper-I सभी posts के लिए compulsory होगा। Paper-II उन candidates के लिए होगा जो Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation में Junior Statistical Officer (JSO) post के लिए apply करते हैं। वहीं Paper-III उन candidates के लिए होगा जो Assistant Audit Officer (AAO) और Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO) posts के लिए apply करते हैं।
Final selection candidate की merit-cum-preference of posts के आधार पर होगा। एक बार post allot हो जाने के बाद Commission द्वारा उसमें कोई change नहीं किया जाएगा।
Q. SSC CGL examination में कितने attempts allowed हैं?
Ans.- SSC CGL Exam में attempts की कोई fixed limit नहीं है। Candidate upper age limit exceed होने तक exam में appear कर सकता है।
Q. क्या SSC CGL में 140 एक अच्छा score है?
Ans.- SSC CGL का cut-off generally 150–160 marks के आसपास रहता है, इसलिए 140 marks को अच्छा score कहना सही नहीं होगा। हालांकि, इसे एक “Decent Score” माना जा सकता है।

SSC CGL Salary Structure

SSC CGL Exam की preparation शुरू करते समय candidates को एक strategic approach follow करनी चाहिए। Previous years में अच्छा score करने और selection पाने वाले candidates द्वारा बताए गए SSC CGL Preparation Tips को हर candidate follow कर सकता है।
Step 1- सबसे पहले official syllabus और exam pattern को अच्छी तरह समझें। इससे आपको पता चलेगा कि exam में क्या पूछा जाता है और किस तरह के questions आते हैं।
